As a leader, i recognize the importance of modeling self-care behaviors for myself and team. By prioritizing my own well-being, I encourage others to do the same and create a culture that values self-care.....for example, i have joined whatsapp groups or communities of like-minded professionals who share self-care tips, resources, and experiences could help keep one accountable and inspired to prioritize their well-being.

I make self-care a priority by setting boundaries. I schedule "me time" daily. For example: - Morning routine: 30-minute schedule can be used for meditation and journaling. - Afternoon break: A walk to recharge. - Evening: Reading or a hobby. Additionally, productivity tools like Trello, Microsoft To Do and Google Tasks can be used for task management and Rescue Time can be used for tracking time. These steps help me stay organized and balance work demands with self-care.

As a career coach I help people to prioritise themselves all the time. . . The first is to recognise what making themselves a priority looks like. What would they be doing differently as self-care looks different for each person. Then, if self-care and boundaries is saying no to work or having a chat with your manager to see what priorities need to be dropped then awareness of what this is is key to start with.
