Treat your prospecting blocks like a meeting with your biggest customer. If you were spending 1:1 time with a VIP, you would silence or ignore your notifications and give them your full attention. There are very few things that are so urgent that they can't wait 60 minutes. Give yourself that permission to focus, then have the discipline to do so. ? Put your phone on Do Not Disturb. ? Disconnect your computer from wifi while you're writing emails so your incoming messages don't distract you from your task. ? Close the door to your office or find a quiet place where people will have a hard time finding you. It's an hour or even a few 30-minute blocks throughout the day. You can do this.

Keep. It. Simple. Set aside prospecting time, aka "Power Hour." Rules: 1. Give yourself 10 minutes to prep your call list and set a target of how many calls you will make. (Could be CRM filter/ names from contacts/ numbers from meetings that didn't close the month before) 2. You cannot reply to any incoming messages for this hour. 3. Take paper notes and add them to CRM later. 4. If you work in a busy environment, make your colleagues aware so they know not to disturb you. BONUS if they join in. If your desk set-up doesn't allow, take the initiative to work from a space that does. 5. Make a note of how many calls you made and your talk time. Next time you have power hour, aim to beat this! 6. REPEAT! You will see results!

I adopt a 5x5 approach for the day. That's the 5 most important tasks to complete by 5pm. I write them down which helps me prioritise, stay on track and be accountable.
