One thing I’ve found helpful during such bottle neck situations is to assess the importance of each client portfolio based on various parameters and then prepare a queue, then based on my experience, I would forecast the time required to complete that task which also includes time to recheck my work. Then I would prepare a schedule and stick to it. Once a scheduled task is over, I make sure to take a small break before starting the next scheduled task. This enables me to start the next task with a clear mind. This technique helps me focus on a task at hand from start to finish accurately. Because mistakes are simply going to delay my schedule, which is something I can’t afford during such times.

I do my best to set great parameters and boundaries around revisions in advance. I often can take out what is a problem or uncertainty on their end. And even will present a whole part of the project in a new way based on insights and feedback from multiple people. Anything to keep things moving forward.

One thing I’ve found helpful is being okay with taking short breaks, whether it’s a quick stretch or grabbing a cup of coffee. It helps me reset and refocus. The trick is to take it one step at a time: I like to prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. And, if it’ll get you to your goal faster, ask for help. I’ve noticed that feeling overwhelmed often comes when I don’t have the information I need to get the job done efficiently. That’s why I feel lucky to be part of a team that values balancing boundaries with client demands, personal well-being, and realistic revision timelines—without sacrificing the quality of our craft. Marketing can get whirlwind-fast, but it’s about finding that balance.
