If the answer is yes then, it’s about getting the engagement, contribution and commitment of all your people in enhancing overall outcomes. If the answer is no then you really shouldn’t be anywhere near diversity strategies until you can address the reason for your perspective.

Personally, one thing that I have found helpful is keeping in touch with your team members at 2 levels - professionally and personally. Now this second aspect can be quite a sensitive one and requires a lot of emotional intelligence. It comes with regular 1-1 checking in, both formally and informally. Gradually, mutual understanding develops and this can enhance communication.

Communication in the workplace is the master key.It is very important to remember that many people come from different backgrounds & levels of life including education. I have experienced that it is important to have integrity to take care of your health & well being to bring our bestselves out on a daily basis to ensure that we provide and ensure the best healthcare now & in the future.A mind is a terrible thing to waist we should always seek higher education and be open to training in the work place this will ensure team work that will make the dream work with our professionalism & expertise in healthcare.

Open communication and feedback! Schedule those 1x1 meetings, make them consistent, and discuss achievements, challenges and career aspirations with that staff member. Maintain that "open door policy" where team members feel comfortable approaching you with their concerns or if they are brimming with ideas.

Tailored training where their leader (as a representative of the company) or the company itself offers continuing education opportunities that cater to individual interests and skill development. Encouraging cross-training to broaden skillsets and appreciation for different roles within the team is another great way to provide opportunities for development.

Advocating for and supporting inclusive policies and practices within your organization, such as flexible work arrangements, inclusive benefits, and equitable hiring and promotion processes. Encouraging and facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members, leveraging their diverse perspectives to drive innovation and problem-solving. Regularly reviewing and adjusting your management approach to ensure that it remains responsive to the evolving needs and preferences of your diverse team. Serving as a role model for inclusive leadership, demonstrating a genuine commitment to diversity and fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and mutual understanding.
