Authenticity is being real, so it sounds like you and not anyone else. To balance them, use helpful keywords but keep your own style. That way, people can find your story and feel connected because it’s truly yours.

Make the Story King.... Forget SEO if it’s going to kill the story. Look at Patagonia... when they talk about sustainability, they mean it, and people feel it. Authenticity pulls customers in, not eco-friendly brand stuffed into every other line. Sneak SEO In... Don’t shove keywords in...make them invisible. Glossier. Their content sounds like a conversation, yet it’s SEO-optimized without anyone noticing. If your audience feels keyword manipulation, you’ve already lost them. Forget SEO Trends, Follow Brand Integrity... SEO changes like fashion trends. Remember the keyword density craze? The closer you stick to the brand's true voice, the more Google eventually plays along.

I write for the ideal client first. If we're sitting across from each other over a cuppa, what would I be saying to you? This ensures the most human-centered content. From there, I edit for keywords. Where and how can I naturally include keywords in a way that will not compromise on quality and readability? If I've done my job well in reaseach and avatar development, there shouldn't be much for me to do here. Then I can optimize other SEO factors that don't affect the body copy, like title, meta description, alt text, etc.
