One piece of advice I'd offer is to cultivate a strong professional network. Connecting with other educational leaders, whether through formal mentorship programs or informal communities of practice, has provided invaluable support and fresh perspectives when I've hit roadblocks. Leveraging this collective wisdom has been a game-changer in navigating mid-career hurdles.

Believing in yourself and the value you have to offer your profession is crucial, especially during periods when it feels like one is making no progress or headway. Then identify what truly motivates you and brings you joy. Keep feeding that joy through your personal development and growth. Build new networks that would encourage you and bring new perspectives to what you're trying to do and offer. Finally, be reflective and truthfully critical of yourself. Make the difficult changes that may be required and most importantly, keep your head up!
