Today, you may be using some tech to achieve this. But back then as someone new to the industry, I always have a notebook with me where ever I go. Yup, literal book and a pen in my pocket. Sounds nerdy, but I manage to easily take notes about everything at work and from my own self-learning. Trust me, it helped me remember a whole lot then just simply listening as I managed to fill at least 3 80-pages A5 notebooks just within 6 months in my first year. This is probably much easier to do with AI and smartphones, but ponder, would you remember those facts years later? Today, I still remember those lessons from work culture, technical knowledge that I am using to pass it on to my staffs both juniors and seniors regardless of where I work.
