Well, I would like to challenge that even though it is still beneficial to identify key personas and build experience/capabilities around it, with the evolving of AI, it is no longer that crucial anymore. The key question is, if we are able to build personalization and dynamic experience fully based on individual user's behavior, then we can potentially build one "variable" size fits all. Can we?

Keep personas fresh by revisiting and updating them based on user feedback and data. This ensures they stay aligned with evolving user needs.

Make sure user personas are planned during the sprint planning stage. Incorporate persona updates into sprint reviews. Use them to prioritize features and tasks based on their relevance.

Don't underestimate the value of testing with paper mockups: super cheap to create/execute and a great way to help remove "imagination" (=ambiguity) from the design and its fitness for function. Do this early, and often, especially in-situ, to find flaws and gaps in your product's ability to support your users' workflows. It's also an easy way to encourage user feedback, since the design is "obviously" amenable to change, plus keeps the focus on meaningful elements of the design (instead of the "chrome").

Continuously test your designs with users who match your personas. This validates and refines the personas to be more accurate.
