With 29 years in logistics, I've learned that unity in a team requires a comprehensive strategy. Clear communication is essential; I maintain open channels for information flow, ensuring everyone understands our goals and plan changes. I stress collaboration and teamwork, creating an environment where every member feels valued and heard. Regular meetings and updates keep us aligned and offer chances for feedback and problem-solving. Using technology for real-time tracking and data analysis enhances decision-making and keeps us informed. Ultimately, success hinges on fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

I would like to add that establishing and documenting standardized procedures for key processes in transportation management, including scheduling, routing, inventory management, and safety protocols. Consistent procedures help prevent misunderstandings and ensure everyone follows the same protocols.

Só existe uma forma de gerenciar. é sabendo onde quer chegar, criando indicadores para acompanhar os passos até o final da jornada, miss?o etc. Portanto, é fundamental que se tenha clareza das responsabilidades e evidentemente seja treinado para isso. Em minha vis?o o processo de treinamento n?o pode ser algo ativo por parte de quem treina e passivo por quem está sendo treinado. é importante que haja trocas. Quem treina tem que entender que sem objetividade a possibilidade de insucesso é muito grande. Por outro lado a pessoa que recebe o treinamento, tendo ciência de onde tem que chegar, precisa ter uma atitude, perd?o se for redundante, ativa . Buscar o conhecimento, ao invés de espera-lo. Aproveitar tudo que lhe está sendo entregue.

De acuerdo a mi experiencia, lo mejor es asignar un responsable principal, y uno secundario, entonces: - Si el primero no está disponible ya se sabe quien toma la responsabilidad - Entre ellos se monitorean, ya que si hay un error será atribuibles solo a ellos.

We had a need in one area for up-killing so booked a subject matter expert in each week from different departments that the transport team had touch-points with. These included the likes of HR, H&S, finance, warehouse management, unions, fleet team, compliance team, customer account managers etc. just a couple of hours from each, week after week soon made massive differences to the team and their awareness on the impact to the bigger picture.

Disponibilizar os recursos necessários para execu??o do processo e investir nas pessoas treinando diretamente na execu??o desse processo.

According to my own experience, a good manager/supervisor is the one that can bring out the best of his team members and perfectly mobilize the human resources, but that shouldn't stop there! When managing people you have to acknowledge the contribution of your team members by reflecting your appreciation for their input, every single team member should feel important and significant, this provides the ultimate motivation to give 100%. To give honest, direct, respectful feedback mixed with care! Like to truly care about the individuals, their lives, future, development, personal lives and growth. For me this is how you insure that you are building a true TEAM.

It’s all about the success of the operation Positive reinforcement of effort will pay team rewards in future if managed properly If it’s a large scale project , understand what you want before trying to get your team on board You have selected talent - trust them and support them. Most of all , listen to them. Check in often, but be brief Don’t micromanage , but make sure you lead them . Ask questions if “you” don’t understand. Keep the focus , direction and timelines Watching your team mature and grow is the real prize.

Assim, ter pessoas competentes que saibam entender se o prestador de servi?o é o melhor frente às necessidades da empresa e se necessário mudar ou desenvolver outro prestador é extremamente necessário. Enfim, o desafio é alinhar gest?o do transporte com gest?o de pessoas.
