Extending a warm welcome to BluSky Carbon, our fellow US Biochar Coalition (USBC) board member, & Ikigai Carbon in joining the fight against Namibia's national encroachment bush crisis along side Facet Power, Kalulu Resources & the exceptional biomass professionals at Namibia Biomass Industry Group. It is all hands on deck & will take widespread private sector collaboration to turn back this insidious form of desertification that's causing a dire food, water, biodiversity, & economic crisis in Namibia. It is a massive undertaking and one that Facet's & Blue Sky's industrial scale, commercial grade biochar systems are ideally suited to manage. We look forward to working shoulder to shoulder with you & all members of the Namibian biomass ecosystem to #flipthescript on invasive species, turn the phenomena into an engine of diversified economic development, and demonstrate what a climate integrated economy looks like: resilient, innovative, inclusive, equitable, aligned with nature, and truly prosperous.
