We usually think that creativity is ideas bouncing from a place to another, all the time. And, even though it can be that, it is not only that. Planning your projects, deadlines, deliverables, formats, resources, is part of the process and achieving results (real results). I personally love Notion, it's a very intuitive tool that has helped me put in one place all my ideas and stop the bouncing.

When it comes to optimising a creative workflow, Asana stands out to me. Its has plenty of tools that simplifies task management, enhances collaboration and accountability among team members. Asana adds structure needed to execute projects efficiently with project boards, timelines, and task assignments. As a manager of creative projects, it's useful to see who's working on which project which helps moves resources around as and when needed.

Given that I've seen what an unorganized creative project does to employees at the junior level, I would lean towards tools that facilitate quick communication and information sharing. Teams communities and Slack are great for real time communication despite their flaws. Monday.com has some really interesting options when it comes to project progress management while tools like Asana are also great for managing timelines.

I find it helpful to begin every project with a mind map. This technique helps me to structure my thoughts without the constraints of a sequence or a comprehensive prespective, allowing for a more flexible and expansive approach to organizing ideas.

For optimizing creative workflow, use tools like: writing apps (Word, Scrivener), design tools (Adobe CC, Affinity), video/audio editors (Premiere, Logic), project management (Trello, Notion), and prototyping (Figma, XD). Additionally, establish a dedicated workspace, routine, time management techniques, collaboration, inspiration sources, breaks/exercise, experimentation, and reflection. Regularly assess and adapt your process, integrating software and strategies aligned with your creative needs and preferences within the character limit. Collaboration can spark new ideas, provide fresh perspectives, and help you overcome creative blocks.

Tools are incredibly important. However, amidst all this, one should not overlook the personal communication between team members. Communicating solely online or through tools can lead to misunderstandings and hinder creativity. While tools assist us, extraordinary ideas still originate from the minds of creative individuals. AI and tools may provide standardized solutions, but they're unlikely to produce anything unconventional and creative.

As for me, Notion made my life easier when it comes to cogitation, ideation and execution. It is definitely the ultimate all-in-one tool for creators. In addition to that, it offers you full independence and a large spectrum of features and structures. When I use Notion, I feel (I wish they were expecting this beforehand.) like they're trusting my chaos and believe that I'll get efficiency out of it. To top it off, use Notion guys! They're far from the competition. (and I know why ??)
