Do mention your experience and skills. Make it concise and scannable. Update your professional network profiles such as LinkedIn. LinkedIn is like your "Digital Business Card" So make sure to update it properly. Attach a good profile picture and add recommendations from others to make your profile strong. Ask others to endorse you for skills which can be an excellent evidence for solidifying your claims. All these things can help you with your job hunt.

Now that you have a polished profile, you need to identify who in your network can help you with your job search. Start with the people you already know and trust, such as former colleagues, managers, mentors, clients, or classmates. Then, expand your list by adding people who work in your desired field, company, or location, or who have connections to them. You can use LinkedIn, alumni directories, industry associations, or online communities to find potential contacts.

I did this and trust me it benefited me a lot! So you can create multiple groups or list with various individuals. Club them together as per your understanding and requirement. Particular folks might be from a particular domain and can help you with referrals. You can create a list of hiring managers and HRs who could be approached directly. This will help you expedite the process. Do make a list of contacts which provide you ample amount of information regarding your dream company's whereabouts, culture, environment, vision, and other information. You can also create a list of people who can help you with your skills and knowledge.

4 Reach out with a personalized message

The next step is to contact the people on your list and let them know that you’re looking for a new job. But don’t just send a generic email or message to everyone. Instead, tailor your communication to each person, based on your relationship and their situation. Start by reminding them how you know each other, and expressing genuine interest in their work or life. Then, explain your goal and ask for their help in a specific and respectful way. For example, you can ask for information about their company, advice on your resume, or referrals to other contacts.

5 Follow up and stay in touch

After you reach out to your contacts, don’t just wait for them to reply. Follow up with them after a reasonable period of time, usually a week or two, and thank them for their time and attention. If they have helped you in any way, such as sending you a job opening, introducing you to someone, or giving you feedback, let them know how much you appreciate it and update them on your progress. And if they haven’t responded yet, politely remind them of your request and express your interest again.

You do not build a network in a moment of need, when you are looking for a new job, you build a network through your career, a network in which you give more than you receive. If you have created a valuable and unselfish network, when you need something, you can then be fully honest and ask for help.
