It entirely depends weather you are grant writer or a grant seeker. If you are grant writer then you should look at those platform, which have domain expertise in your company’s CSR domains. Also see if what kind of grassroots partnership these platforms have and the kind of projects they have executed. It is worth while to understand if they just consultants or they really partner. If you are a grant seeker, your approach has to be what is the value add the platform is going to make… in the long run. Are they just a market place for various CSR stake holders, or they are in business of fund raising or they have a stake in Developmental acitivity… aligning to the right platform is very essential for your success.

Most important task is to clearly define your organization's CSR goals and priorities. Understanding your specific focus areas will help you identify platforms that align with your values, requirements and mission.

If you are looking for a CSR partnership, the organisation should have a clear vision for the long term approach. There should be matching of the common goals. It's very important to tell the donors , how you can measure the outcome and achievements in the long run. Also, it's important to share the sustainability plan with the partner.

Aunar esfuerzos con estas, permitirá medir realmente el impacto de la estrategia y constantemente realizar seguimientos que garanticen los resultados. Si hablamos de la busqueda como tal, recomiendo revisar cuales has sido los resultados de las mismas en el tiempo y sobre todo tratar de comenzar con plataformas que realmente impacten sus grupos de interés más cercanos.

Conduct proper research on well-known, recognized and reputable CSR platforms. Look for platforms that have a track record of successful partnerships, transparent operations, and a positive impact on social and environmental issues.

There are already so many online platforms for the CSR partnership. One should always explore the various websites and groups to connect with them. The RFPs that are now very common in India, should always be explored for the expansion and new funding projects. Most of the websites are free, but some of the websites do charge an amount, but from my personal feelings we should avoid such professionals, as they might be unreliable.

Conduct a proper research from the diverse CSR platforms available and select the ones with complementary goals, skillets and of course and alignment of core values, vision and mission. Let me share an experience; we wanted to start a He for She CSR initiative and at that time, we needed a larger and well connected platform to leverage their experience, network and skills while we would do the ground work, provide the content and every other work. we were able to secure partnership with a leading NGO in the legal sector that was interested in our line of work.

It's always great that, if there is a common goal for the program, it would lead to greater benefits for everyone. For example, if your organisation is working for the agricultural sector then, agri based organisation will be more suitable to be partnering with. As they will also support for the long term and motivate for the better outcome. Some of the organisations nowadays also provide awards and felicitation for the results of achievement which they have not even thought of.

In India, we have the India CSR Summit organised by CSR Box, Ngo Box etc.. I was fortunate to attend the CSR summit by the HCL Foundation in Kerala. The professionals representing various cororates an NGO's will participate and share their views in the summit.
