However, there are certain skills and qualifications that are essential for QA, such as analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the requirements and specifications of software products, design and execute test cases and scenarios, and identify and troubleshoot defects and errors. Additionally, you need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills to communicate effectively with software developers, customers, stakeholders, and other QA professionals. It is also important to have technical and domain knowledge of the software development life cycle, the tools and methods used for testing, as well as the domain or industry of the software products you’re testing. Lastly, curiosity and creativity are key traits for QA professionals; you must have an interest in learning new things, exploring different possibilities, and finding innovative ways to test and improve software products.
