This is an interesting filed to look for in the current macro economic environment where not only companies but also countries looking for positive contribution. As stated in the article whenever you try to utilise your network to gain understanding it is a two way communication which means you also need to contribute if you plan to gain from other's knowledge. My suggestion here is, it is not necessary to contribute in the same field, if you have knowledge in other area and how you can link the Sustainability knowledge to your field, it will help your network to understand the broader perspective and will happily share their knowledge.

Here's what else to consider:- -When networking, focus on understanding others. Ask open-ended questions and listen attentively. Show empathy and respect for different viewpoints. -Offer assistance, share resources, and contribute to your network. Generosity fosters reciprocity. -If networking across cultures, be aware of communication norms, gestures, and etiquette. Respect different time zones and cultural sensitivities.
