You’re learning CAD. How can you be confident without being arrogant?

Meanwhile, acknowledging your weaknesses helps you stay humble and open to learning, preventing arrogance. Confidence stems from competence, so continuously improving your skills while remaining aware of areas needing growth is key to striking the right balance.

Confidence and self-knowledge are key points for learning, believing that the development of skills brings with it more knowledge, and what was a challenge ends up becoming a goal of achievement. However, we cannot forget that we do not know everything, especially in the first steps of our career, and it is essential to have the humility to recognize this.

To cultivate confidence in CAD without arrogance, assess strengths and weaknesses objectively. Acknowledge proficiency in areas like drafting or 3D modeling, while recognizing areas needing improvement. Seek constructive feedback and guidance from peers or mentors. Embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. Confidence arises from competence tempered by humility, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement rather than unwarranted superiority. Strive for proficiency while remaining open-minded and respectful towards others' perspectives and expertise.

Set realistic goals, learn from multiple source. Seek feedback from others. Understanding your strength. Help others with your feed back. You will never know all the tools and commands. Be confident be humble with others. Growth is the main thing in professional.

Yeah, it's always good to know that no matter your level of knowledge, there is always going to be something new around the corner. In this state I will normally be open to learning, ask questions about things you don't understand, and respect the fact that someone is knowledgeable in your subject of interest. There is really no need to be arrogant, just put in the work before you lose the opportunity to learn one or two things from your counterpart.

1. Get Vulnerable. Don’t be afraid to humiliate yourself, be vulnerable by announcing what you don’t know. 2. Explore. With hundreds of commands, functions, and buttons, it’s ok to try something. Get ready to undo and don’t destroy something. 3. Respect and Share. Respect those senior to your position and ask for advice but not too much (or it may get annoying). Show you’re willing to resolve issues on your own. Offer advice to those that are learning. 4. Be Yourself. Struggle is inevitable, you’re in it for yourself. It’s not about how others perceive you, so don’t show your strengths too early, don’t show too much.

By sharing your work, you not only showcase your skills but also invite feedback and collaboration, which can help you grow and improve. It demonstrates a willingness to learn from others and an openness to constructive criticism, which are humble traits. However, it's essential to strike a balance between sharing your achievements and being mindful of not coming across as boastful.

I believe that the exhibition of work opens up a range for you to have different opinions from other people, so that by analyzing the criticisms, you can improve a weak point that you had not yet noticed, and help other professionals with your feedback experience.

When you share your work, you will receive various feedbacks that can increase your confidence or provide different views that can improve your learning that will in turn increase your confidence. You will learn new processes that can increase efficiency and improve your approach while designing new projects.

1).Watch your words. Speaking as if you are better than anyone else is arrogance not confidence. 2).Acknowledge your areas of weakness. 3).Own your mistakes. 4).Celebrate other people's successes. 5)Notice your body language. 6)Don't take yourself too seriously.

Praise is motivating, helps you persist on your path and brings satisfaction in your professional career. Everyone has something to teach and learn, the more knowledge you share, the more you learn.

Showing "Gracious Professionalism" is the right way to go about this, praise is key to ensuring you can grow and become better at CAD because it shows that you are taking the correct path and becoming better in a progressive manner. You also need to put yourself in other people's shoes, giving them praise when necessary to validate the hard work they're putting into their craft.

zu Punkt 3. Lob absolut. Ehre wem Ehre gebührt Lob ist das "I-Tüpfelchen", das Sahneh?ubchen. Es gibt ein Sprichwort, je mehr man wei? umso mehr wei? man, was man nicht wei?. Deshalb sind auch der neue Dinge, die man nicht kannte, diese einem überzeugen und motivieren, natürlich lobenswert. Man darf und kann dankbar dafür sein, dass andere Menschen an Gleichen und ?hnlichen Dingen arbeiten und tolle Ergebnisse auf dem Hut "zaubern". Nur so k?nnen wir uns insgesamt verbessern und darum geht es hier auf der Erde. Im Sinne der Menschen, Tier, Umwelt und Natur. Diesen zum Wohle zu agieren. Auch in Bescheidenheit und Demut. Jeder von uns ist hier "Nur ein Gast auf dieser Erde". Wie sind mit "Nichts" gekommen und so werden wir auch wieder gehen.

It sounds simple, doesn't it? If someone has done a good job, tell them. So often this is just expected, you only get feedback if something goes wrong. Everyone should have some pride about everything they produce otherwise what are we all doing? If you have found a solution, or done something quicker than expected or found a more efficient solution. Good job, nice one ????. It makes everyone feel better and be more productive. If something hasn't gone to plan talk about it but don't get emotive. Acknowledge it, learn from it, move on. We all make mistakes. Just talking things through with colleagues, it doesn't even have to be a formal 'review' can be immensely helpful and beneficial.

Confidence comes from knowing that you're on a journey of progress and development, rather than from believing you've reached the pinnacle of mastery. I've been in the CAD design field for over 20 years and I still ask questions and look things up. Do not be afraid to ask questions.

There’s always something to learn within your preferred software, let alone all the other programs! Even after 15 years of AutoCAD and Inventor experience, I’m still learning new tips and tricks from colleagues. It’s all about your attitude towards learning!

Always learning for helping people who don't have an outstanding designer skill, always have a humble mindset, perhaps we can be a professor and teach design skills.

-Let’s start off by acknowledging that CAD is a technology that is constantly evolving . You should reflect that as well by maintaining an attitude of constantly learning and open to learning from your mistakes . Mistakes are just a wrong way of doing a task , don’t give up . Finding all the wrong ways of doing a task will create an awareness of what not to do. Mistakes lead to better troubleshooting techniques and tactics . -Our phones and apps are constantly being upgraded and updated . If we approach CAD as a technology that will eventually be updated , we have to be open to the fact that new ways will be coming in the near future . As we update our knowledge base we will in turn be updating our skill sets .

Having fun is not only important, but it's also pivotal. When I embarked on my journey to learn design, I enthusiastically immersed myself in the craft, experimenting with every idea that popped into my mind and drawing inspiration from everything around me. This served as a practice and honed my ability to visualize concepts effectively.

CAD - Computer-Aided Design is not just a part of engineering but a part of art as well. It is essential to UNDERSTAND the basics, 2D drawing, 3D drawing and perspective drawing. Once you can visualize the product in 2D and 3D layouts in your head, learning CAD is just a tool like learning to use a roller scale to draw.

Being yourself is the key to mastering any skill, it allows you to mold your abilities to ensure that you are learning and growing efficiently. Your authenticity enhances your ability to learn by being aware of your strengths and weaknesses, allowing you to have your best performance while connecting with your craft. CAD is a complex system and being the most honest version of yourself is what will allow you to find a work process where you're comfortable and successful.

Keep clear records of change in design thinking and approch so in future you will have a map of the historical process. This will also help in understanding why the design is in its current form.

Muchas veces se pueden mejorar los procesos de dibujo: sectorización, automatización,... Pero el CAD no lo es todo. Que algo "siempre se haya hecho así" no significa que no se pueda hacer mejor. Y a veces, si el software te limita, es un problema de que el software no puede hacer lo que es necesario hacer. Adáptate.

Confidence is assurance in your skills. Arrogance is drawing people's attention to your assurance. Do good work, and don't demand recognition or validation.
