Macro manage things rather than micromanaging it. Assign ownership to the team members and let them explore it, challenge themselves. As a leader, not interfering into day to day work is important. Monitor the progress of goals and help your team members giving them direction when they ask for help rather than spoon feeding them. This will help them grow and develop self confidence, improve moral.

The key support I believe you can provide for your team members is trust. That is only when you can truly give your team members the freedom and flexibility to make decisions, solve problems, and express their creativity.
