Do not dim your own light so others can shine. Glow like a galaxy _together_! Try 3 ways: 1. Introduce the team! Make their bios short & compelling, and you’ll sound confident, gracious, and a total leader. 2. Not everyone feels comfortable with extended public speaking, so ask first. And the truth is most people are not great at it. Encourage/support those developing team members, or have them take on small but standout speaking roles like Q&A facilitator, product demo, or even a timekeeper. 3. Give credit where credit is due and do it publicly during the presentation. You can acknowledge contributions when transitioning between sections, add a "recognition moment" at the start or the end with a teamwork story, whichever makes most sense.

Working in a team means that your team represents you, and you represent your team. There aren’t multiple individuals—you all are one. In a team, not everyone may shine during a presentation, and that’s when true leadership steps in. Support your teammates in a way that turns even challenging moments into winning ones, even when it feels like things are falling apart.

Confidence is feeling comfortable within yourself. It has nothing to do with others. So it is important not to overshadow anyone. It’s not confidence, it is unacceptable. To avoid this, you must: - make eye contact - acknowledge others - show appreciation - listen actively - show empathy - be kind

As much as being given the opportunity to lead a team in presentation is a way to "show" your skills, you're meant to shine the spotlight on the team as a whole Let the contribution be a product of the idea from everyone on the team If possible, mention the name of the contributor of the point you are speaking on With this, you'll make the win a team effort

Balancing teamwork and confidence as a manager, especially in Albanian work culture, can be challenging because success is often attributed to the manager alone. I focus on creating a culture where everyone feels ownership of our success by recognizing individual contributions, empowering team members with leadership roles, and fostering open communication. For instance, I encourage everyone to give feedback and share ideas in decision-making processes. This way, each person’s unique strengths are recognized, and it builds a stronger sense of collective achievement. Additionally, I aim to lead by example, showing confidence in the team’s abilities while remaining humble about my own role.
