Clarity on development tools When designing and developing digital content it is import to be clear on what tool you want to use and how you want to package content so that it speaks to the end user. At times you design your storyboard with a lot of graphics and interactions which might not be compatible to the platform and the designing tools

When I work with a digital learning team we typically look at: - Accessibility. Considering diverse abilities and designing the user's interface and path. Small things like closed captions, alt text and adjustable font sizes can make a big impact on accesibility. - Personalized learning paths: Branching scenarios. This helped the users feel a sense of ownership and feeling that the product was 'theirs'. This opens the path to gamification as well. - User persona development: Whenever we design a learning experience, whether it's a presentation, workshop, e-learning or mobile app the challenges and preferences of the user come first. Eg. Microlearning for learners with limited time and synchronous learning for in-person compliance.
