1. . Establish a Clear Product Vision: Define a compelling product vision that outlines long-term objectives. 2. Implement a Prioritization Framework(User RICE framework for more data-based prioritisation towards goals) 3. Create a Backlog Refinement Process: Align the backlog as per long term goal and clear the ones that are no more needed. 4. Identify Quick Wins: Look for features that can provide immediate value and align with long-term goals 4. Define Key Milestones: Break down long-term goals into smaller, actionable milestones that can help guide feature development and provide a sense of progression towards the larger objectives. 6.Engage Stakeholders in Decision-Making

I set priorities by first understanding the main goals and deadlines. I check feature requests to see how important and urgent they are and how they fit with long-term plans. I work with others to balance immediate needs with future goals, making sure we focus on tasks that are most useful.

Juggling feature requests while keeping an eye on long-term goals is no small feat! I usually prioritize by considering customer impact and alignment with the overall vision. What’s your go-to framework for balancing these?

It’s like trying to make a perfect sandwich with too many ingredients. Here’s how I handle it: ? User Needs First: Does this feature fix a problem users are screaming about? If yes, it’s getting in the sandwich. ? Long-Term Vision: Is this feature taking us closer to where we want to be in a year? If so, it’s staying in the mix. ? Roadmap Tetris: I fit the urgent stuff with the long-term goals so the product doesn’t end up with a weird, unbalanced structure. ? Team Sync: I loop in PMs, engineers, and anyone who’ll listen, so we’re all on the same page. At the end of the day, it’s about making sure the sandwich tastes amazing, not just stuffed with everything.

Pressure to report timely results/outcomes can result to the need to keep adding features to a product. Questions to bring up when you find yourself in this situation? What's the team's goals, objectives or even north star? Does the product have a road map? What are the current pressing user needs? Has the product found it product market fit? Answer to these questions paints a clear picture on how you can align your priorities to ensure each feature request you design for actually brings a real value opposed to feature bloating a product. The next step is communication, team wide alignment on priorities and creating a system that consistently informs the next ideal feature to focus on. This can be done timely for proper scaling & growth
