A key strategy is prioritizing tasks, as not all demand the same level of attention. When creativity is lacking, I begin with lower-impact projects, which allows me to better plan for those requiring greater focus. At times, it's essential to dive into research, brainstorming, or exploring creative platforms. Trello has been invaluable for customizing workflows, enabling precise time management and prioritization, while enhancing coordination and tracking.

I always try to nail down creative before starting anything technical. As an animator it's important to have a clear concept before you start moving pixels or you'll end up spending days on a sequence you ultimately scrap. Storyboard, know what assets need to be made and how they should be rigged, have your look and feel narrowed down, then get to work.

Priority can be the decisive factor between meeting deadlines and failing to present a completed project in a timely manner. First, make a list of the times you know work best for you to work, modifying it if you come to the conclusion that the time slots you've chosen are ideal or not. Once decided, make sure to prioritize work and then rest so that you can do other things like chores, taking care of the kids, or running errands. If you have younger children, the schedule will need to be modified to meet their needs, often finding the best time is when they're asleep, at school, or spending time with a relative.
