There are so many networking opportunities, it's easy to get lost. Don't promise too much that everyone was satisfied. I choose those connections that bring value to both parties, rather than trying to be everywhere at once. I set clear boundaries: how much time and effort I am willing to allocate to avoid disappointment. If I cannot participate, I maintain contact in another way: recommend a person, share useful material or simply send greetings. I also use tools for tracking contacts and reminders. And, of course, I remind myself from time to time, even just by congratulating on the holiday. This helps to maintain connections and not lose sight of people.

In order to resolve competing priorities in networking, the first step would be determining the importance and the level of urgency of all commitments. Then, be forthcoming with all involved parties and not hide the importance of the other commitments and the reasons for any delays or constraints. Offer solutions or timelines that help alleviate their concerns. Overall, keep the relationship intact by being empathetic, responsive, and following up reliable.
