Break the TEMPLATE :) Step away from routine brainstorming. Try activities that get them out of their comfort zones, like rapid sketching or playing improv games. This loosens inhibitions and gets the creative juices flowing. Embrace wild ideas: Encourage quantity over immediate quality. Emphasize that all ideas are welcome, even the seemingly wacky ones. Often, these “out there” concepts spark connections and lead to innovative solutions. By creating a safe space for exploration and celebrating diverse ideas, you’ll get your team thinking outside the box.

Creativity is ability that won't be presence in survival mode. This is only induced when team members feel safe and no threat. One of the root cause of being stuck is the pressure to solve the problems activate the survival mode of the teams hence the creativity shut down. To return the state into safe mode, there are some practices that might be helpful from fun introduction, gamify the session, create safe ground rules for attendees, breath and body works sometimes help if the time and space allows. Thinking differently and challenging the time tested beliefs is one of the key factors in creativity. Actually we hear,understand, experience and start believing. When we start believing without coming out of our comfort zone we loose the powers of our brains and enormousity of the universe. It's not only the problems we face but also the best mental effort we put brings us near to truth and a strong creative mind. One example of the then scientist Galileo in expounding the theory and proof regarding our universe inspite of the monumental struggle he has undergone inspires us to think creatively. Now when we are out on our own we try to resolve our problems. Directing our mind to the root cause analysis provides us the mental strength.

Why not change the environment and go outside for a walk? The greener, the better. Surprise your team with movement when they feel stuck in a place. Take the tension off. We often get great insights and brilliant ideas while moving. Feel weird about it? Then, be weird and give it a try.

If it's a business problem, then you have customers. If you have customers, always incorporate their POV into problem solving. You'll be surprised by how helpful customers can be in solving business problems, either with direct solutions, or by opening your eyes with completely new insights about the market. Surveys are not an ideal instrument for this. Instead, have one-on-one non-sales conversations with customers and prospects, asking open-ended questions. Your customers will appreciate you for asking their opinion and you'll learn so much about them to improve your business. Being customer-centric is the best source of competitive advantage.

I have learned overtime that there's is no single linear approach to problem solving.therefore it is vital to consider diverse causes of the problem and multiple ways in which the problems can be solved.

First & foremost effective use of available technology should help you to evaluate & diversify different perspectives within the team. Using polls helps to speed up the process to bring in fresh views from team members.

Always remind all impacted team members/stakeholders during this session is not to limit themselves. Generate as many as options without have to consider constraints such as risk, resources, time, and budget. This will automatically generate freedom that kick Creativity in. Provide relevant references as context (can be relevant study, benchmark or best practices) but do not limit potential alternatives with items that have been done before. Even if the ideas are not selected later on, any recorded ideas if inventoried well will be treasures or can be utilized as future references. Experienced multiple situations where the ideation do not need to start from 0 as we catalogues past suggested ideas.

When evaluating a solution, especially a product being created by SMEs for general consumption, it is always a good idea to have a non-expert review that product. This gives you a litmus test of the viability of your solution with audiences who do not have the same depth of knowledge as your team. This review can be used to validate your team's pro/con or SWOT analysis of a given solution.

Assess what selected solutions that require significant resources for execution. Things under this category might need more assessment for supporting validation prior full execution or smaller scale test (in pilot or stages to check feedbacks/results) If selected solution do not require huge amount of resources and can be merged with existing natural process/workflow, I usually attempt to implement with 3 cycles as standard. 3 is number that I consider we can fully confidence that it make an impact that we do expect without being harmful to existing operation & resources. Success after 1 iteration might be not represent the real dynamics and after 2 iterations it might ties. 3 are considerable conclusive to decide it can be retain.

Referring to 'Men in Black I', have a pie. Get your team, and do something else for just a bit. There's physical stress, there's emotional stress, but part of the latter is creative stress. Once your mind gets stressed, how can it be creative? Think of it like a sourdough. Once it gets over fermented, it's useless. Don't think about work for a while, but lose the "I don't want to do this" attitude. Don't think about work, so you can work efficiently afterwards :)

??Stop what you are doing ?? Do something different and unrelated to the area where the creativity is needed. ?? Forced rest, everyone take a break. You have to create space for creativity. It does not come unless there is room for it. And never forget to look at the problem from multiple angles ?? Creativity itself, is a call to something different and new ?? Is your line busy with your own assumptions or can the call come through?

Primeiramente colocar os operadores a par da situa??o, ouvir o que eles tem a dizer e propor suas ideias com base também na opini?o e experiência deles, sabendo levar em conta o parecer de cada um e propondo solu??es como fazer as coisas rotineiras mas de uma forma diferente, tais como usar a m?o esquerda (se o operador for destro) para escrever, escovar os dentes e etc, tomar um caminho diferente na entrada e saída do trabalho, estimular a leitura de livros e menos uso do celular, principalmente antes de dormir, e etc. Fazer tais coisas estimula o cérebro.
