Yes, try to learn how to learn new software. And don t compare how workflows are or how things work in case a or b. Every software has it's own language. And the most important thing: creativity should not happen on set or at a PC. Try to know what you want before planning 3D Scenes or shooting. Write it down, use storyboards with stickfigures.

You are the first tool to master. Experience the world as you see it, use your brain to create new thought patterns and merge ideas together. Getting to know how to express yourself comes first for me. And tools (objects) come later. Create something everyday! Pick up a camera, shoot your idea and then edit it together. Put it on one of the social platforms to keep yourself accountable. Don’t create for an audience to begin with, create for yourself. Keep doing this and be consistent. That’s the challenge.

Making space to have fun, play and explore is highly important! Once on set, when the stakes are high and the pressure is on this is not always possible. Carving out this time whenever we can is vital for creativity and is nourishing for the soul!
