En un apagón generalizado las opciones son pocas , quizás telefonía fija ( siempre que las redes no estén fibradas dado que los módem también se alimentan eléctricamente), otra opción es la telefonía satelital y, en los primeros momentos del hecho de la falta de energía eléctrica, la telefonía móvil también lo es, esto está dado porque muchos sitios de acceso móvil (radio bases) cuentan con abastecimiento eléctrico temporal para afrontar la falta de suministro eléctrico, todo lo que se intente en comunicación está dentro de la evaluación que la persona haga del contexto porque debemos elegir un medio que nos proporcione el transporte para ese mensaje siempre teniendo en cuenta las opciones y la rapidez del accionar en el envío

Always have alternative communication mediums that will help you and critical stakeholders to be reachable and manage both technical and information management of the outage. Ask all the stakeholders to stick on essential and not to load the channel with non critical or operational information.

Le premier objectif est de comprendre appréhender le pourquoi de la panne et la cause racine de trouver les bons experts du sujet au bon moment - C'est pourquoi pour ne pas subir la crise pou la panne il faut s'organiser à blanc faire des tests events en mode situation réelle pour adapter nos réactions - Une fois la cause connue il faut prévenir les clients via tous canaux avec le message approprié au degré de la crise - enfin une fois le diagnostic établi prévenir le client de l'évolution de la panne - Enfin une fois la panne passée faire un REX ou débrief à chaud et mesurer l'impact de la panne sur les activités.

Is a good in factories to have backup radio to be used in case of emergency to talk. As we currently a lot depend on the mobiles, even with communication in the same buildings.

Don't say more than what will show them things are managed Don't give any mean time to repair if you are not sure of the actions carried Specialize communication with each stakeholder (administration, corporate, mass market etc.) Don't let many people communicate (you must have your crisis communication team leader)

je me rappelle avoir visité la cellule de crise de la sncf à saint denis c'est super bien organisé avec un grand écran pour suivre les données et l'évolution de la crise en temps réel mais égalment une grande salle ppour réunir ensemble lees gestionnaires de la crise, les communicants influence community managers, les communications presse et RP, la com clients pour interagir ensemble en live - très efficace pont de crise

Ce qui est surprenant sur la panne microsoft et MAJ logiciel de vendredi dernier c'est que c'est un effet boule de neige des incidents qui nous a alerté qu'il se passait quelque chose donc ce qui est inquiétant dans le processus c'est que la panne mondiale n'a été connue que tard dans la journée en france de par la presse et les rebonds dommage que cela causait

Crisis management as a whole is a well prepared process and all its aspect must be considered. This process must be regularly checked to make sure things go smoothly when crisis arises. -Technical process -Alternative communication tools -Communication management - Capitalization (impact, cost etc.)

Firstly it is important to consider whether it is due to natural calamity ( eg. Storms, typhoons etc) or is it localised to a single service provider . It is advisable to open up emergency inter operator roaming in the market to maximise available coverage and capacity for the end user . For this there needs to be a settlement construct agreed for emergency Inter Operator roaming beforehand. Then restoration efforts needs to be aligned to priority in terms of business impact. Primary connectivity restoration should be priority to restore services , secondary/ protection connectivity can follow soon after. There needs to be a command centre which continuously assesses impact and prioritizes restoration efforts to maximize business value

When mobile phones don't have signal the are likely to use more battery as they trying to 'look for signal'. So need to think about additional power if you not close to the way to charge (building or inside car).
