Most “tech disruptions” are actually founded in technology innovation. As such, I don’t think maintaining product innovation during tech disruptions is an uphill battle at all; instead, I look to leverage newfound capabilities to further power even faster and better product innovation.

Product innovation is consumer centered. And should always be developed with the tech level that maximizes the benefit for the consumer and, at the same time, creates value for the company. If there are some unexpected technological disruptions, we need to stop for a moment and analyze how these disruptions could affect future consumer satisfaction and the market. And re-analyze our pipeline with that in mind. Are they a minor benefit?, are they a game changer?, our pipeline has become obsolete? In function of the results of our assessment we'll have to make the appropriate decisions, and they can be tough. If we have to upgrade or completely change our pipeline we will have to do it, as it's simply meaningless launch obsolete products
