To execute a project with tight schedule deadlines, planning and effective utilisation of resources becomes crucial. 1. Prioritise which are critical for projects and ensure timely execution with utilising best resources. 2. Prefer to execute the tasks in parallel which are not interdependent. 3. Allocate tasks/specific responsibility among team members to effectively utilise the skills and ensure execution of tasks under supervision to avoid errors/rework. 4. Monitor project progress closely against planned to access any potential issue and adressal of same.

Once I had observed that project submission deadline had come but the team members have done nothing in that work. This was B.Tech. project. I was also busy about my research scholars. Then I called one of my good student who was doing M.Tech. The three B.Tech. students worked in close guidance of mine and that M.Tech. student,s name was added in the research paper communicated. It normally happens that B.Tech. project students work in the last moment and they complete the work in the last one month and most of them enjoy their first two months and then they start their working. Ultimately this M.Tech. student could help them a lot and project was completed in time. Some groups work at very slow speed. Their guides have to take care a lot.

1. Prioritise - I like listing out tasks and sub tasks. Then prioritise. I finish those tasks which take less time. This way I am able to tick a few tasks in my list quickly. 2. Taking help from peers - Having diplomatic relations with peers is an asset. 3. Remain calm - Remaining calm is important. Anxiousness might lead to mistakes and rework, ultimately increasing tasks time or missing deadlines.
-
Allocate resources first to the tasks that have the most significant impact on the project’s success or schedule. Non-critical tasks can be deprioritized or completed in parallel.
-
Use project management techniques like the Critical Path Method (CPM) to map out all project activities, identify dependencies, and determine which tasks directly affect the project deadline. Prioritize these tasks to ensure the project stays on track.
