Provide clear and succinct instructions. I can totally relate with this because it has happen in one of the zoom classes I had with a learner. I had to do a video of how I share my screen on zoom because she was unable to share her screen even after giving her multiple oral guide. She was able to share her screen after the video instructions.

Instructions that can be printed that include small screenshot images of icons or menus they will need to click personalized to their platform is great for individuals with only one screen another option is a narrated screenshot video(s) that learners can follow along with at at their own pace. Lastly, as they get familiar with the software or procedure offer a scaled down cheat sheet with quick bulleted steps as a reminder if needed. If there is time in the training/curriculum, having learners create this makes a great assignment.
