The last thing you want to do is let the stress get to you where you lose it. If you're leading a team, the last thing your team needs to see is the captain abandoning ship! Be supportive and encouraging to your team, keep yourself focused and level headed, and maybe throw in a paid lunch or something to show your appreciation for your team's hard work.

Effective communication, a supportive atmosphere, encouragement throughout the process, and establishing specific daily goals are essential. Additionally, I would provide a boost of motivation when tasks are approved by the client.

Be the positive support system to your team. You're there to make sure the deadlines are hit, yes, but also, to encourage the team to get there and remind them of why they're there in the first place and how great their contributions to the team are.

If you've ever been in a job where you feel like there is a meeting every other hour, you know for one, it messes up your work rhythm and secondly, many times the meetings accomplish nothing. And while they do that for you, you better have their back. From the idea, planned execution, style, script...everything...you make sure from the start that the client is on board so there's no surprises. There's nothing worse than a boss who won't stand up for their creatives against a client's long knives. A good boss, one who protects, guides and nurtures goes a long way on the morale scale. If your staff respect you, they'll gladly give the extra.

Streamlining communications is critical! I use project management software to collaborate on ideas and inspiration, track the progress, and offer support on all projects.. This also helps the client experience too because they have visibility into their projects.

You need to kept in mind all the deadlines when you plan to work on somwthing. Along with the motivation, check and balance is the best way to keep the momentum. Lack of keep an eye on momentum increase the burden and the quality of work may compromised.

I have found that, even when discussing space for improvements, starting with positive feedback goes a long way in keeping the team together. As managers, you have to allow for some missteps as a path to growth. Then when someone follows through on a course correct, be sure to recognize it and offer complimentary support.

Positive feedback is crucial, but it must be specific and sincere. This isn’t just for big actions, but also for those small gestures. They should be moments of personal recognition and what I find useful is mentioning the impact of that action when I quietly thank them. If it’s not sincere it holds no value and can do more damage to morale than good. Also consider the personality type of those you are thanking - a quiet, personal thank you I find is more effective for all, even those who are extroverted (who will get a more public gratification from a general thank you, well done, you’re amazing speech at the end of the deadline/project, that is directed to the team as a whole.

There was a month where I had 5 recorded footages waiting for post production. It was toxic because of my other duties in the organization. So I had to rethink what I could simplify and what could be improved. It came down to trimming intro and outro segments, using templates to speed up in video graphics. And having a really fast computer to handle high resolution rendering. Don’t be afraid to experiment and try new features built in to your software. They save time. Background remover and sound editing AI tools are a big help. Less is more. Use the tools.

Take as a compliment if any of them comes to you asking for advice about how to troubleshoot something. It means that they trust your expertise and guidance. You don't need to be a supervisor to celebrate your team's achievements! Take a step back and look at the players parallel to you. Celebrate each others' progress, and all the pieces will mean even more when they come together in the final form. Break down siloed processes to create a unified goal with lots of small celebrations along the way.

Celebrating milestones keeps morale high and reminds the team of the progress we’ve made together.
