To win over resistant staff during onboarding: Listen: Understand their concerns—job security, workload, or feeling undervalued. Involve Them: Make them mentors or collaborators to foster ownership. Explain the "Why": Show how new hires reduce burnout and support team growth. Highlight Value: Emphasize how fresh skills make their jobs easier. Incentivize Collaboration: Reward teamwork with recognition or bonuses. Be Transparent: Share updates and challenges to build trust. Celebrate Wins: Acknowledge milestones to boost morale. Turn resistance into collaboration with empathy and clear communication. ??

One thing I’ve found helpful is asking the staff questions about their lives outside of work, current work situations, and finally about the new onboarding process. Getting the staff’s feedback is key. I then act on that feedback to incorporate ways to make a better and smoother onboarding transition.

It depends on where and what kind of resistance is being felt. The elephant in the room may be that the hiring process which brought this candidate through to on boarding, may have failed.

Entendo que algumas estratégias podem ajudar neste processo. - Escuta ativa - antes de agir ouvir e entender as dúvidas e preocupa??es do time.
