To win over stakeholders resistant to tidal energy solutions, adopt a comprehensive approach. Address their specific concerns through transparent communication and education about the long-term benefits of tidal energy. Involve stakeholders in decision-making, highlight successful case studies, and form strategic partnerships. Conduct thorough environmental assessments and propose mitigation strategies. Seek government support and financial incentives to alleviate economic concerns. By combining these strategies, you can effectively build support for tidal energy initiatives.

Winning over stakeholders who are resistant to tidal energy solutions requires a combination of addressing their concerns, providing data-driven insights, and aligning the project with broader goals (economic, environmental, or strategic). It’s very crucial to approach the resistance with a balanced view, addressing concerns while emphasizing the long-term benefits of tidal energy. By providing robust data, offering risk mitigation strategies, and aligning the project with both environmental and economic goals, you can create a compelling case for its viability and future success.

My supervisor usually says: "sometimes you have to explain purple to blind people". In my opinion, it is somehow the other way round: keep thinking that you deal with people privileged if selective hearing. If it is money they hear, talk about the financials. If it is sports, then speak about football. And it goes on... Above all, do not forget to listen. Actively. And ask queetions. What do you think?

Always think and keep the bigger picture. There are small and baby steps need to be done but once you have pave the road, the success will follows.

Unlike other forms of renewable energy, tidal power is far more predictable and reliable given the regularity and consistency of tidal ranges. Tidal lagoons across a range of time zones could also support the base load argument which conventional renewable (wind & solar) presents, given they are somewhat at the mercy of the weather so to say. Initial construction costs may be higher depending on the size and type but reliability levels and capacity may offset this.
