Certified test report is a form of proof and verification by 3rd and hopefully reputable testing and certification agency to avoid disputes

Trade Assurance and Quality control agreement works... Clear communication in whatever language for better understanding helps too. In the communicating aspect, make clear your expectations and the standard quality you expect the product to meet. Have the supplier draft out a quality control document or Proforma invoice that states: _ the agreement between you and the supplier concerning the specs of the product. _ the return policy on the product, _ the durability and safety standards, _ the warranty time, to cover for factory errors on the quality, and _ penalties for breach on any part of the agreement ?? Factory Acceptance Testing(FAT) and Pre-shipment Inspection(PSI) can be considered to ensure the standards are met.??

Communication between all relevant department requires to avoid this problems. Especially QC part is very important to this role.

Regularly inspect the factories using local trusted inspectors. Have penalties in writing upfront as part of the contract conditions that the LC or part-payment are based on.
