If you are unable to solve the recurring issue, reach out to your senior TMS who has experience with similar issues.

Whenever I faced this kind of issue, I prefer to check the logs and process list parallely It would help to identify the issue occurs at what time and for how long afterwards finding the root cause would be easy. On the other I also analyze queries in order to make sure no query I stuck it hanged for quite long, and which queries are taking more time so those can be optimized as well
