Sometimes the maintenance schedule changes because of variety of reasons like trade of vessel, availability of spares or availablity of technicians. In such a situation it is important that all stakeholders should be kept in loop and repair plan to be updated and shared with all. For eg if there is a problem with one of the generators and the vessel cannot run all the power packs then this will seriously hamper the ship's capability to discharge the cargo and the Charterer would like to know if any such things is happening on his chartered ship so that he can communicate this to the terminal and avoid any last minute fines and scheduling of the vessel can be done keeping in mind the handicap of the vessel
