The only way to improve communication and remove language barrier is increase the relation with the working team when you start building relation and finding the causes of theirs problems then there is always a solution and solution doesn't need any language... So after a small experience in manufacturing line there is no language barrier when you have solutions

There are many ways to keep communication effective and fruitful, but the most efficient factor is engagement with your team .This is covered all aspects and angles such as understanding ,clarifying ,stress avoidance and proactive.one of big elements is trust and let your team solve the issues by themselves even sometimes leading to a mistake (calculated empowerment) it is learning and part of their journey.

One way is to walk the talk by performing the steps on the manufacturing floors. This will help you to listen and learn from each one what they do and how they do it. You’ll have the opportunity to have a 3-way conversation with the manufacturing team and understand their way of talking. Diversity brings great opportunity to share values and beliefs from one another. Also, you learn the floor language which will help you to deliver any message in their own terms. Both side will benefit from your experience because different cultures look at leaders differently and it will give you a great opportunity to be at ground level with everyone.

It’s all about fostering a culture that’s inclusive of different languages. Just expecting or even demanding that everyone learns the language spoken by the majority of employees is ineffective. You need to actively encourage all your workers to learn to communicate with their colleagues in more than one language. Offering language courses, as well as creating fun group activities to support team building and language learning, are just a few ways to help establish such communication and understanding.
