Basically we should audit by doing physical inventory verification and audit should be done after every 3 months this will reduce the investment in our inventory, excise material will not remain in the inventory and non moving items can be highlighted and in future we can place new orders only after minus the material we have.

Its all about preparation. You need good projections. Realistic projections plus you have to decide if you want to hold stock or run out of stock. Have good suppliers who can supply as required treat them as if their warehouse is yours. Have insight into what stock levels at suppliers are Be aware of low stock items. Don't run out of stock. You want to be aware of low stock when it happens so having automat d minimum stock level ordering is helpful. Use common sense. If you see something that doesn't make sense call it out.
