Una clase en línea y una presencial puede ser afectada por algún estudiante que crea problemas en el desarrollo del trabajo académico. Se deben establecer pautas claras que impliquen compromiso con todos los involucrados de aportar y no interferir. Invitar al que perturba a hacer un aporte al contenido tratado, a fin de integrarlo y dirigir su acción hacia de manera positiva a la clase. En caso de que no surta efecto lo propuesto se han de tomar medidas sancionatorias, por ejemplo suspender su participación. La suspensión debe llevar aparejada con otra medida: que el estudiante deba hacer alguna actividad relacionada con el tema tratado y que deberá exponer al resto del grupo. En definitiva, una sanción constructiva.

Doing unusual behavior to get attention may be a normal behavior between undergrade students because of their level of personality maturity and age considerations. So, sometimes we can pay attention them to respond their needs. However, lecturers can manage the situation by their creativity. I myself try to focus on special aspect of the disturbing behavior which is usable to say an interesting scientific point or refreshing the attention to the class. This approach needs a good amount of general knowledge, being sharp-witted, and having a sense of humor. The teacher should create an atmosphere of mutual respect between himself/herself and the students. In general disruptive behavior is not actually a repetitive event in my online classes.

I understand that misbehavior can occur in online classes, but it was extremely rare in mine. I provided notes for students to read and encouraged them to ask questions, ensuring an interactive and engaging session. To maintain involvement, I randomly called on students—especially those known to be mischievous—since a teacher quickly learns their students’ nature. If any disruptive behavior became unmanageable, I removed the student from the class and sent a strict personal note, reminding them of the consequences, if they continue to do so. For larger classes(<60), the teacher should control audio access and allow questions only via the chatbox. Staying alert to potential disruptions and taking strict action when needed is essential.
