If you’re facing conflicting user feedback, make those user groups fight it out in a Mad Max Style Thunderdome. Two opinions enter, one leaves. Seriously, user testing (and focus groups for entertainment) often provides results that conflict. And, relying on surveys doesn’t always provide the best results. It’s best to have a super savvy interviewer lead the testing session so they can ask “why” the user is giving that feedback. Dive deeper. Sometimes user feedback is based on bias, opinion, or they aren’t clearly stating why they have the feedback - only that they didn’t like something.
