? Collaboratively establish a data-driven product prioritization framework early and socialize it often to avoid opinion-based product pivots. Here’s how: 1?? Identify value metrics such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and retention. 2?? Create a spreadsheet with columns for Feature, Short Description, Value Metrics, Cost (Effort), Confidence, and Priority 3?? Score Value Metrics (1–5) for each feature and average determine the Value Score, discuss and adjust with stakeholders, and record the rationale for changes 4?? Engage engineering leads to estimate Effort (1–5) and Confidence (0–1) 5?? Calculate Priority = (Value/Cost)*Confidence 6?? Meet with stakeholders to ensure the group is informed of the features and their Priority

When conflicting opinions arise over product features, informed decision-making is essential for a successful launch. Prioritize customer feedback to understand their needs, analyze market trends and competitor offerings to differentiate your product, and conduct a cross-functional meeting to evaluate the impact of each feature, fostering a comprehensive decision-making process.

In these scenarios, I focus on customer feedback as a guiding principle for prioritization. Market analysis helps validate whether the features will make the product competitive. By facilitating cross-functional discussions, I evaluate the impact of each feature to ensure a well-rounded decision that supports both business goals and user needs.

(已编辑)When faced with conflicting opinions on product features, I focus on aligning the team with the product’s strategic goals. Here’s my approach: Impact on Key Metrics: I assess how each feature impacts core product KPIs such as user engagement, retention, or revenue growth. This helps prioritise features that drive the most measurable outcomes. Customer Feedback: I rely heavily on direct customer input. Understanding which feature addresses the most critical pain points in the user journey can streamline decision-making. Effort vs. Value Matrix: I plot features on an effort vs. value matrix. Features offering high value with low development effort often take precedence, allowing for quicker wins and resource optimisation.

Many times there are situations when customers don't know what's the root cause of their pain points. or it can be like the same problem can be resolved by launching a very tiny feature. All these can be done via deep brainstorming among the cross-functional teams, or analyzing the market trends.
