When I encounter multiple troubleshooting tasks, I try following the Eisenhower Matrix to prioritize tasks and manage time. I divide the tasks into the following categories: Important and urgent: Tasks that require immediate attention and have significant consequences. I do them immediately. Important but not urgent: Tasks that are essential for long-term success but do not require immediate action. I decide when to do these. Not important but urgent: Tasks that demand immediate attention but are not crucial to achieving significant outcomes. I delegate these. Not important and not urgent: Tasks that are neither important nor urgent. I dump these. Try this approach. It improves focus, makes you feel lighter, and reduces stress as well.

Additionally, the urgency of certain issues might vary based on factors beyond impact, such as deadlines or user expectations. A balanced approach that considers both immediate impact and potential consequences is essential for effective issue resolution.

Prioritising is a must when faced with challenges of conflicting nature. It happens in our day to day life as well as when you're troubleshooting something. One has to pick battles that deserve to be fought on priority. While there are few other challenges that can wait to be addressed later.

Consider the resources you have available, including time, personnel, and tools. Tackle tasks that can be resolved quickly with the resources at hand. This approach allows you to clear simpler issues, freeing up resources for more complex problems.

This method provides a structured way to map out criteria and prioritize issues based on their complexity and impact, ensuring a balanced approach to quick fixes and long-term stability.

Practice makes progress, right? While some problems may look big and scary, the best thing to do is to start hacking away at the problem, understanding that you are not an expert at the beginning.
