Firstly, I would have offered the opportunity for the client to attend the test and verify the results, build the trust then these doubts will disappear. If they have refused to attend the test then you either delay the project or agree to put your own controls in place and proceed, your team verify the results, to talk the client through the controls in place and the process of the testing requirements finally demonstrating the results.
