To enhance airport security team safety performance, clarify roles and responsibilities. Establish clear performance metrics and provide regular training and drills. This approach ensures improved safety, reduced incidents, and regulatory compliance.

It is is said eity twenty applies to airport security too, perception and profiling takes eighty percent and equipments take twenty percent. For that we need Smart Equipment with Smart Persons. Here comes the concept of training and continuous yraini.g. Aling with equipment with latest with the state of the art equipment.

Basic fundamental of robust security set up is Layered Security protocol. As of now passenger Security check is done at single check point while to ensure a detailed security check it should be done atleast 3 stages dividing complete protocol into 3 levels that will ensure complete check. But this is only one part of security check which is about 40-50% of entire security need of a safe aircraft. Apart from passengers on each aircraft atleast 400-500 human movements take place for housekeeping, baggage loading unloading, cargo loading unloading, Pantry services material loading unloading, which too need better frisking & scrutiny. There are many other aspects but cannt be covered due space paucity.

Hire better educated screeners, many of the staff hired for this purpose have a very basic background and cannot handle the little power trip they get on with the position and uniform. It would pay off to pay a bit more and get better qualified staff.
