Even in a red, or purple ocean, i.e. markets that are saturated with commodity services and solutions, there are blue waves. The focus of the strategist, the product designer, the AI and transformation teams needs to be on augmenting human potential to surface those considerations that existing entrants have overlooked. To extract value from commoditized markets, the trick is to identify pain points that many stakeholders have long said “are just the way they are”, or “are done this way because that’s what’s in my job description”, etc. Put another way, it’s about starting anew with the market problem that needs to be solved, using first principles to solve it the right way, and augmenting the human considerations that bring it to life.

First, explain the purpose of the strategy, goals, and how this differs from the competitors when it comes to aligning a team in a saturated market with a new strategy. Break down this strategy further into roles and responsibilities, showing how each contribution fits into the big picture. Open discussions can be beneficial to raise questions or concerns-or even gain insight-from the perspective of the team member. Establish milestones that are measurable to celebrate small wins that create motivation. Give them what they need to make it happen, and remind them why they're working together. Create clarity, engagement, and a shared vision in alignment for your team so the new strategy can be executed with confidence.

All must be made aware that the primary objective is to succeed. Therefore, every individual is accountable for his or her actions and objective as defined. Focus on Time Mgt. Set realistic time table with timelines for deliverables, and encourage team to focus on the task at hand. Hold regular meetings with the team to review challenges, measure progress and milestones, and strategizing on best ways to achieve results. Reward performance, incentivizing where necessary and penalize non performance.
