Create an order of operations after reading all feedback: 1) Do you find any trends/commonalities with the feedback received? 2) How on track is this feedback with the project and user goals? 3) Delegate which feedback can be tackled and which feedback would be impacting timelines and resources. Evaluate how crucial this feedback is to address in relation to other factors. 4) Compare you findings and proceed with further revisions :)

Take a deep breath. Once you establish your order of importance, set reasonable time limits and reward yourself with a walk, coffee, or snack break. This way you can stay on task while working on a long list.

Having worked in an agency, I can say that most of the time, you get vague feedback. There are rare occasions when the client gives you a detailed one. So, as a designer, it becomes your duty to ask for clarification and leave nothing open to interpretation. You, as a designer, need to have a clear understanding of the project, its objective and the rationale behind it. This would prevent unnecessary revisions. Also, saying this from experience, multiple revisions or delaying the project can irritate the client and he/she might give you negative feedback or stop reaching out to you for future projects. Therefore, it's better to seek clarification beforehand, rather than losing on business afterwards!

Combine similar suggestions to streamline the list, and set aside outliers that don’t align with the current direction. Communicate your consolidated insights back to the team, explaining why certain ideas were prioritized. This method helps you manage feedback effectively while keeping the design process focused and efficient.

At each stage of the process, it's important to refer back to the original brief and parameters of the project. Making informed decisions that support the intended outcome will ensure a happy client.

You might receive conflicting feedback from different stakeholders. Ultimately, this would mean that one person's feedback might be disregarded in favor of the other person's perspective. The company is served best by the most effective approach, so disregard the 'chain of command' between these colleagues. Compare the two suggestions/requested edits. Determine first if one of them would cause issues (such as regulatory compliance or technically risky). Then, if both are feasible, test them against each other with the original design as your control. Get these stakeholders in a room and present your findings. Facilitate a conversation to gain greater perspective, and guide the group to the best path forward.
