You’re a copywriter with a deadline. How do you choose the best writing software?

I don't think that you need software to write copy. With that said, I typically use Sprout Social to write copy for the Global B2B social media program that I manage. It has a built-in AI tool that allows me the option of getting 3 alternative post options written for me by AI. From there, I can select the best option if I want to, or just take inspiration from the AI-generated copy. I also like that social media scheduling tools allow you to preview hyow a particular post will look on the platform - especially for LinkedIn and Facebook, which collapse longer posts via the 'See More' option (which can accidentally hide your link if you're not strategic about writing the copy).

What I think is having a deadline is important, but not something to make it a burden. Be relaxed and find the most comfortable platform to write. It may be because it has a better ui or it is minimal or anything. It’s totally up to you.

I will concede that spelling and grammar checkers are helpful. But, use them as remainders not as crutches. You still have to learn proper grammar rules. Those are integral to your craft. So study writing as a craft. Use software to simplify your work. But still make the effort to be proficient without software tools.

Das w?r beim Versand etwas kompliziert und würde vermutlich auch keine gro?e Leserschaft erreichen. Aber Word und eine Grundahnung vom Texten funktionieren da eigentlich ganz hervorragend. Besser (und schneller) wom?glich als kurz vor der drohenden Deadline h?nderingend nach einer Software zu suchen, die die Arbeit erleichtern k?nnte. Just my two Cents...

These days software tools are not a problem. There are both free and paid versions that will take care of most of your writing needs. So don't stress about it. When it's time to find a new solution, you'll find it. In the meantime, focus on writing!

ok AI I see what you're doing. All you need to write is a pen and paper. Software won't miraculously give you an edge. Grammarly talks nonsense as much as it helps keep your spelling and grammar in check. Word is fine, but expensive. Google docs is great but is monitored. Open Office is useful and free, but clunky. Notes is fine but unsophisticated. Be scrappy, brave, and don't be afraid to take your writing offline.
