I believe you have have great clarity as to why you feel you need to expand. Have you exhausted other options that are significantly less expensive but most likely achieve the same goals such as: going to second and third shifts even you are required to pay a higher rate for your employees. Have you maximized your current capacity of operations with your current capital equipment. Have you researched your suppliers and do you have back up suppliers that you currently provide 20% of your contracts to back suppliers should your primary suppliers stop supplying for any reason. What is the ROI timeframe. I.e. is it less than 24 months. What is the market potential of your expansion. Is it also in a business friendly environment.

Expanding our business will always have either 1 of the 4 directions to go: (vertically) Up or Down, or (horizontally) Left or Right. - Going Up means: we find everything new, from: customers, market segments, region coverage. - Going Down means: exploring deeper in our existing market & customers for more potential selling (upselling or cross-sell purpose) - Going Left means: diversifying our products portfolio from our existing suppliers/ vendors. - Going Right meand: finding new suppliers/ vendors to increase our offering portfolio. - Either one of the above 4 is surely our business expansion direction. However yet, as the most efficient way of business cost, we shall opt first for Down Direction first before all else.

Finding the right people to run the show is oftentimes the hardest part. You're essentially a start up, that's trying to fit in a larger company's framework.
