In my experience, taking a look at student feedback from past semesters can provide valuable insights into the challenges they are facing. This feedback helps ensure that the tool addresses real needs rather than perceived ones. Ask yourself: What specific challenges are we trying to solve with this tool? How will this tool align with our curriculum?

I think it depends on the audience. The most important thing is to analyze the needs of the students. Does the tool help the students learn more easily? Do they need the tool?

Any investment in Edtech tools within an educational facility needs to fill a clear and present need for learners and educators alike. Determining the need for an Edtech solution can be done in a range of ways but should be backed by hard data so all stakeholders in the given educational community can see the need for the change in practice.

In my opinion I will suggest: -> Evaluate Track Record: Focus on tools with tracked success in enhancing learning outcomes. -> Read Reviews: Consider feedback from other institutions (learning from others does and dont′s) -> Compare Features: Match tool capabilities with your specific academic needs must to have and nice to have ones. -> Consult Experts: Seek insights from industry experts and educational technology consultants.

Here's what I look for when researching a new tool: * proven effectiveness through studies or case analyses-colleague recommendations 100 for the win! * data protection policies are compliant with GDPR and safeguard student information. * aligns with my educational goals and curriculum standards to avoid distractions. * user-friendly for everyone involved. * can provide meaningful data insights for monitoring student progress and informing instructional decisions. * within my budget. *from established companies or those with a solid track record to ensure they will be around for the long haul and not disappear in six months.- Although this does not mean anything now. Researching the right tool for your site should be based on 3 key areas: - Evidenced backed improvement of student outcomes - Feedback from educators at sites as similar to your own as possible - General usability and intuitiveness (both student and teacher facing) If a tool can tick these three boxes and fill an area of need at your site, it is worth a trial at very least.

What is the staff review report? My colleagues and I have, at various times, had to give reports on the use of a proposed technology to ascertain its suitability for our teaching and learning purposes.

One time at work, a new software was deployed for data management. It was decided that data entry and retrieval would be localized and restricted. This required new infrastructure. Consider the initial deployment of devices during teaching and learning. Issues to consider will include: ? Power supply and outlets ? Device handling and safety

Si el desarrollo ha sido in house permite generar mucha interacción y refinar el entregable. En esta etapa es importante involucrar a todos los interesados y personas clave, validando que la concepción de la idea sea homogénea.

Here are some tips based on my experience: * Start with a pilot to evaluate the tool's effectiveness in a controlled setting. Maybe one course or unit. Start small. This helps identify potential issues and gather initial feedback. * Develop a comprehensive plan for integrating the tool into existing systems and curricula. * Accept that despite all the planning, preparing and learning, things will go wrong. It's ok. * Provide ongoing training and support for everyone involved until they are comfortable with the tool. * Establish channels for continuous feedback from teachers and students to refine and improve the tool's use.

After all the previous validation, it′s important to have a Project Manager to manage the implementation. Following the following will help: 1 - Detailed Timeline: Create a clear implementation timeline with milestones. 2 - Resource Allocation: Ensure sufficient resources (budget, personnel, time) are allocated. 3 - Training Programs: Develop comprehensive training sessions for all users. 4 - Communication Plan: Keep all stakeholders informed about the implementation process.

Implementing Mathspace in Middle school classes was a four year process. Year 1 - Trial - Obtaining feedback from early adopters, providing time and training for staff to effectively use the platform, educating stakeholders on positive student outcomes. Year 2 - Year 7 implementation - Utilising the skills of early adopters to roll out among the Year 7 teaching team while providing assistance and liaising with Mathspace contacts. Year 3 - Roll out across 7/8 using same approach. Collect feedback from students and teachers to identify possible obstacles for use. Year 4: Completion of Middle school roll out into Year 9. Key learning: Intently listen to your team and ask follow up questions, don't just hear what you want to hear.

One thing I always wonder about the plan implementation, mostly newer adoption policies fail to be a role model. The policies are hyped through rigorous advertisements and the slower implementation through phases leads to outdated Edtech.

This is how I suggest to approach for monitoring impact: -> Establish Metrics: for student performance, engagement, and satisfaction. -> Continuous Assessment: analyze data to evaluate the tool's effectiveness. -> Learn, adjust and Iterate: Use findings to refine tool usage and address areas needing improvement. -> Report Outcomes: Share results with stakeholders to maintain transparency and support continuous improvement.

I agree with reviewing students performance data. Also collect reviews and feedbacks from staff and students. Surveys could be helpful. Has the usage of the new tool reduced time spent on task and/or improved efficiency? Has it made insightful analysis readily available?

Engaging students, getting their feedback/feed-foward, setting metrics to assess performance of tech in use; as well as assessing the effect of the edtech on learning outcomes is key
