More often than not, the notion of analytical outputs that are untouched by any kind of error, biases or distortion is a nearly mythical thing. In practice, the only real solution is to implement as many controls as one can, particularly convergent and concurrent validity assessment tests, using multiple different data analysis strategies and techniques, to confirm that the results that you produce from one analysis are consistent with those of another. By doing so, you achieve an outcome that is as close to what we might call empirical truth as is practically possible. Controls serve to reduce the odds of unreliable outputs, but they can't prevent the possibility. Always correct as required.
