One way I think you can catch your boss’s eye is sticking to your strengths and weaknesses. You must ensure that you maximize your strength in the achievement of set goals, goals that you have set with the endorsement of your boss. In the same vein, you must be mindful of your weaknesses or inadequacies and work towards eliminating the weaknesses. You must ensure your weaknesses don’t overshadow your strengths. In so doing you get to do things better, remain relevant, and achieve set goals. This will will attract your boss not necessarily taking up additional responsibilities. It may be okay to take additional responsibilities but that should be done in a fashion that will not lower performance. Be sincere.

Muestra iniciativa y disposición, entusiasmo por brindar opciones, soluciones, mejoras de procesos, nuevas creatividades, diversos puntos de vista, etc. Toma la iniciativa y tu jefe verá en ti a un trabajador dispuesto, entusiasta y positivo.
