You need not be in same city/country. But with help of social media, you can provide your content, provide valuable comments on other person's contents. Try to articulate,which 2-3 things, you liked in his content & why. Also,if possible, provide 1-2 suggestions. Provide value,value & value.

Not sure the suggested answers really answer the question here however being willing to find and connect with likeminded peers with nothing other than a desire to share and learn can work well. Too often people connect with a view to selling something. I find true connections and networking is about either finding out about someone or something new, or maybe connecting to someone through a connection but with a view to having something useful is still key not an ulterior motive to use or simply sell something. Have something to offer that’s useful and you can’t go far wrong and others may also seek your sharing too.
